Under the Japan Spec Influence

In Japan, GT look been dominated the super sport cars there. The same holds true for automotive styling and performance here little bit. Although, most Proton Wira pimped from dull silly to wannabe rally, but this particular ride get Japanese influences to be a GT wannabe.
Built as a family sedan car, the then-blue Wira was fitted with a customized Mitsubishi Mirage bumper with lips. Promote air diffuser fitted to enhance airflow along the front bumper and was fully gutted for competition use. To complete the body kits, Mitsubishi Lancer GSR side skirt’s installed and fully customized rear bumper lips fitted. The exterior finished after installed a rear spoiler which took from Mazda RX-7 FD3S

MIVEC (Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control system) is the brand name of a variable valve timing engine technology developed by Mitsubishi Motors. In power plant department, the old scrappy 4G13 engine swapped to 4G92 engine which provided 145 PS at 7000 rpm, this MIVEC-equipped engine could achieve 175 PS at 7500 rpm
As for the interior, Mitsubishi Mirage dashboard and steering wheel dominate the space. With in dash monitor plus head unit, this ride can turn from fast mean machine to slow swinging mobile entertainment machine.

This ride uses a surprisingly simple and effective suspension setup. Mitsubishi Mirage springs suspend the car, while Tokico shocks provide the dampening. Wrapped around 16inch OS racing forged wheels, the 205/45 Sime Kruizer and Ventus tires used to stroll along the street. It's uber-fast on track and barely comfortable enough to drive on the street. But hey, you have to drive up the street to get to the track, right?
